This picture is from an article called “The Rescuing Hug”. The article details the first week of life of a set of twins. Each were in their respective incubators and one was not expected to live. A hospital nurse fought against the hospital rules and placed the babies in one incubator. When they were placed together, the healthier of the two, threw an arm over her sister in an endearing embrace. The smaller baby’s heart stabilized and temperature rose to normal.

Last week, we bade our interns good bye… *sniff* by having an awesome pizza party!! So new and old interns got together to share stories and enjoy a slice or two or three or a whole pizza. 

After the eating, we decided to play charades! Because somebody was supposed to be in charge of games, but no games were planned out. Not pointing fingers… just saying.. liz. 

Many thanks to Liz, Zarah, Micah and Lorraine for joining us. 

Seriously, our interns are awesome! We try our best to make the experience eye opening, full of learning and fun.
